I learned a lesson this week, a lesson I think the universe has been trying to teach me for a long time. I learned how to forgive myself when I fall short of the goals I set for myself. I was told a long time ago, but a very wise woman, a very good friend of mine, that failure is nonexistant, she said, "You do not fail anything, things just didn't turn out the way you thought they would."
Many times, I think that people give up on the law of attraction very quickly when they feel that it is failing them. Sometimes, the universe may be waiting a while before granting your wish, not because it's not coming to you, but to teach you some profound lesson in life. These lessons come in all forms and continue to come into our lives until we learn whatever it is we need to learn.
My "failure" this last week was that I stopped doing my exercises. My initial respose when I "fail" to do something I had planned on doing, is to berate myself and be angry at myself. This time I finally saw the light. The universe wanted me to learn to forgive myself of my shortcomings. This time I didn't get angry at myself, I didn't berate myself, I just accepted that I wasn't in the mood to work out this week and I allowed myself to take a break. Once I decided to give myself the week off, I felt so much better, and I even went ahead and worked out last night a little with Shane, when I hadn't planned on starting my routine again until Wednesday.
It felt good to accept myself. To allow myself to feel good about my decisions instead of getting angry at myself.
The next time you seem to hit a road block when you're manifesting your desires, before you get upset and allow yourself to feel like a "failure" stop to ask yourself what the universe may be trying to tell you by putting this obsticle in your way. What lesson are you meant to learn from it?

The Law of Attraction isn't something you can master right away, and does require practice.
